Are there different versions of the interface cable driver? How do I know which version I have?
There are two versions of the driver: Version 1.0 of the driver was first distributed on CD in the spring of 2004. Version 2.0 was launched as a download in July 2005, and distribution on CD began shortly thereafter. If you installed the driver from a CD, you will find the version number on the disk label. If you installed the drive via download, you have Version 2.0.
