We have determined that a very small number of OneTouch® UltraSmart® Meters recently distributed in Canada are set to the incorrect unit of measure (mg/dL) instead of the correct unit of measure used in Canada (mmol/L). Your test result will include a decimal point if it is set to the correct unit of measure (mmol/L).
We are immediately recalling specific lots of OneTouch® SureStep® Test Strips because they may provide low test results when your blood glucose is greater than 22.2 mmol/L.
OneTouch® Ultra® Test Strips are NOT affected by this recall.
