Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
LifeScan has been a proud supporter of JDRF since the early 1990’s and 2009 marks our 9th year as a National Sponsor of the TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes. Over the last ten years, thanks to our company’s fundraising campaign, individual pledges and corporate matches, galas and event sponsorships, LifeScan has contributed over $1 million dollars to JDRF in support of their mission to find a cure for diabetes and its complications.
United Way
LifeScan Canada has been a supporter of the B.C. United Way since the early 1990’s. To-date our employees fundraising efforts (pledges, raffles, pancake breakfasts, auctions and other events) have helped raise more than $700,000 for the United Way in support of their mission to bring positive, long-term and sustainable change to living conditions in our community.
